Supporting students to reach their full potential with science related learning!
We offer two scholarships each year, to one pupil in Onewhero Area School, and one to a pupil of Pukekohe High School.
Guidelines for Students and Teachers
Aimed at non-academic students
Our prizes are for students who might not be recognised as traditionally academic. These students should want to continue their science studies, or to pursue some vocational training related to science.
Meeting a need
We hope our prizes will be awarded to students where the prize will make a difference.
Selected by teachers
We trust the school to identify the students who meet our criteria and who will benefit from the Dave Young Memorial Scholarship.
Remembering Dave
The trust serves as a means to keep Dave in our thoughts, who he was, and how important he knew education and opportunity is to young people.
Future
We aim to build our fund so we can expand our support to include organised science trips.

We are focussed on assisting local youth at Pukekohe High School and Onewhero Area School.
